Photographing Hotel Dolinas was a rare privilege: I had in my hands the world’s first hotel to integrate an indoor climbing wall into its concept, and I devoted myself to translating that spirit of boldness and movement into images. I immersed myself in the contemporary architecture of the space — from the sculptural lines of the timber ceilings to the indoor pool bathed in natural light — seeking to capture the balance between sophisticated design and the adventurous energy that makes this hotel unique.
I dedicated myself to recording every space with a keen eye for detail: the covered pool with its oval windows and waterfall feature, the lobby of organic shapes and cinematic lighting, the wood-clad reception, the serene-toned suites and the wellness and spa areas. I sought to show how Hotel Dolinas blends the comfort of an urban retreat with the vitality of those who treat climbing as a philosophy of life.
I also threw myself into the project’s gastronomic dimension: I photographed the signature cuisine, the precisely plated dishes, the wine list and an extensive house cocktail programme, captured sip by sip. I completed the essay with the event halls, restaurants and social spaces, building a complete portrait of a hotel that breaks conventions and invites every guest to push their own limits.
