Pestana Alvor Praia — Resort & Food Photography in Alvor, Algarve

Photographing the Pestana Alvor Praia meant immersing myself in the generous light of the Algarve. Before this classic five-star resort overlooking Praia dos Três Irmãos, in Alvor, I set out to capture the dialogue between the lush gardens, the open-air pools and the intense blue of the sea stretching out just below the balconies.

I devoted much of the series to the resort’s gastronomic experience: the brunches served facing the ocean, the fine dining plated with precision, the signature cocktails and the small rituals by the sea. I always sought the natural Algarve light, letting the vivid colours of the dishes, the drinks and the landscape itself lead each composition.

I completed the work with the lifestyle dimension that is the very soul of the Pestana Alvor Praia: guests on the beach, leisure moments by the pool and the sunset over the coast. The result is a vivid, luminous portrait of a resort where the tradition of Portuguese hospitality meets the relaxed pleasure of a holiday by the Atlantic.
