Berlin, Germany ·2025
When I arrived at the Pestana Berlin Tiergarten, I found a four-star boutique hotel that breathes the rare tranquility of standing right beside the Tiergarten, Berlin’s great central park. I sought to translate into images that delicate contrast between the energy of the German capital and the green calm surrounding the hotel, photographing the serene façade, the welcoming entrances and the terrace where guests enjoy the sun among the trees. I devoted myself to capturing the soft Berlin autumn light filtering through the golden canopies.
Inside, I moved through the spacious, light-filled rooms with their large windows facing the greenery, and I aimed to record the contemporary comfort of interiors in bright tones and wood. I photographed the welcoming reception, the indoor pool, the gym and the wellness spaces, always attentive to the details that make a stay memorable. I also wanted to show the lifestyle moments: the generous breakfast, guests unwinding and the warm presence of the pets the hotel so happily welcomes.
To complete the narrative, I went out into the streets and photographed Berlin’s icons that lie just steps from the hotel: the Brandenburg Gate, the Victory Column, the Berlin Cathedral and the leafy corners of the Tiergarten itself. In this way I sought to tell a complete story, in which the Pestana Berlin Tiergarten emerges as the ideal starting point for discovering one of Europe’s most fascinating cities, uniting the repose of the park with the cultural vibrancy of the capital.
