Pestana CR7 Lisboa

When I photographed the gastronomy of the Pestana CR7 Lisboa, beside the Praça do Comércio, I wanted to capture the energy of a signature sports bar in the historic heart of Lisbon’s Baixa district. I photographed everything from the breakfasts served in the morning to the cocktails built at the bar as night fell, always seeking to translate the way the kitchen blends Portuguese flavour with the easy spirit of a young, iconic brand.

I devoted myself to the details that give the table its identity: the cheddar dripping over the gourmet burger served with fries in a cast‑iron skillet, the hand‑stretched dough of a fresh pizza, the gleam of the signature cocktails, and the theatre of the Irish coffee prepared in front of the guest. I looked for the warm, dramatic light of the space at night, when the Ballon d’Or‑inspired presentations and the vibrant bar atmosphere take centre stage.

From the bar counter to the shared table, from the team portraits to the mood of the dining room, I worked to build a visual narrative that lets the guest taste the experience before the first bite. This series is my account of the gastronomy at the Pestana CR7 Lisboa — a place where the soul of Lisbon, the joy of a shared table, and the confidence of a contemporary brand come together.
