Gastronomy Photography
Clontarf, Dublin — Ireland ·2025
Built within the original walls of a 12th-century castle, Clontarf Castle Hotel is one of Dublin’s most iconic addresses. For this project I immersed myself in the culinary world of the house, capturing the soul of the Fahrenheit Restaurant and the Indigo Lounge — two spaces where Irish tradition meets a contemporary twist, led by a kitchen that celebrates the finest local produce.
The focus of the work was gastronomy and cocktail photography: carefully composed plates, from brunch to classics with a modern touch, shot in natural light with attentive table styling to reveal the textures, colours and freshness of every dish. Each frame seeks to convey not only flavour, but the ritual of the dining experience — from the first bottle of sparkling wine on ice to the cocktail finished with precision in front of the guest.
In the chic, contemporary Indigo Lounge I explored the interiors and mixology of the house; in Fahrenheit, the majesty of the wooden beams and stained-glass windows set the stage for fine dining. The result is a series that presents Clontarf Castle as a complete destination, where history, hospitality and signature cuisine meet in every detail.
